PRESENTATION: INDUSTRY PERSPECTIVE
When McGraw-Hill Construction first began to track BIM adoption in 2007, only 28% of companies were BIM users. By 2009, that figure had grown to 49%, and in 2012, 71% of the firms surveyed report using BIM. Today, BIM has emerging standards and best practices and an increasingly skilled user base incorporating its functionality into daily workflows. BIM also drives innovation by expanding its uses into new tasks and integrating its data into many other vital technology tools. We will hear more from Steve Jones who directs McGraw-Hill Construction's initiatives in BIM, and has also co-authored McGraw-Hill Construction's SmartMarket Reports on interoperability and BIM.

PANEL SESSION: DIGITAL COLLABORATION
BIM is continually transforming complex design and building processes. In this session, we will hear from the DDC about their BIM Guide which provides a guideline for the development and use of BIM to leverage the capabilities of BIM for building O&M, the new standards on model level of development (LOD), use of BIM in the healthcare industry, and the use of BIM in the field for construction.

PANEL SESSION: BIM PROJECT WORKFLOWS
As more companies develop digital models it is increasingly important to manage the inter-company workflows that exchange vital information among project stakeholders, from design through to fabrication and installation. This panel will help us understand how critical new advancements in BIM standards for modeling and emerging trends in multi-party, international workflow management for architects, engineers, fabricators and contractors are re-engineering the digital workflows of the future.

PANEL SESSION: BIM FOR INFRASTRUCTURE
The need for innovative and cost effective approaches to both new and reconstructed infrastructure has never been greater or more urgent. This panel discusssion not only disucsses on what is new in BIM for infrastructure today but it provides a baseline for the transition to new digitally-based collaborative processes for infrastructure for the future.
